Well Paradise Gardens didn't disappoint last weekend with Solution Sounds and the Avant Garde Hip Hop dance company both worthy of a mention.

This weekend is a little more sedate, although not entirely festival free.

Greenwich and Docklands International Arts Festival begins on Friday, with performances, music, art installations, dance and much more till Sunday. This year they have a water based theme, download their programme (pdf file) to find out more.

Tapas Fantasticas takes place in Brick Lanes Yard, featuring all things Spanish, particularly wine, whilst there's a street party in Estelle Road (NW3) on Saturday.

Camberwell Arts Festival closes on Saturday, with a craft market on Camberwell Green, rounding off a week of events, many of which are free.

Under One Sky Festival in Harrow, held on Sunday, will cost you three quid to get in, but sounds worth it with a load of kids activities and a main stage on which they promise and 'eclectic mix of music from around the world.'

Finally, beginning on Wednesday and every evening until Friday, The Unexpected Opera Company with be performing The Barber of Savile Row at the Scoop ampitheatre down on the South Bank.

Ed: Check back, we'll be keeping an eye out for anymore festivals this weekend once the Paradise Gardens inspired hangover has worn off.
